“This is indeed another proud moment for both U.S.-based research, development and manufacturing teams,” said Rob Schultz, Continental’s global product manager for rubber track. “This achievement recognizes Continental’s continued commitment to innovation, superior engineering, and setting the standards in the industries in which we compete.”

Continental’s award-winning Trackman XP rubber track, recognized for its innovation, with features including Anti-Vibration Technology , the fully molded drive lugs with ARMORLUG and ARMORLUG ULTRA technologies, the four layers of MAXXTUFF steel-cord reinforced carcass and the corrosion-resistant steel cables. These design innovations are how Trackman XP are constructed for longer life and make it tough enough to take on today’s heaviest, most powerful tractors with confidence.

Continental’s continued passion for innovation and bringing industry first technologies, driven by decades of experience in the agricultural business drove them to develop a new line of high-performance radial ag tires that are every bit as tough as the Continental Trackman rubber track.

Continental Ag Tires Re-Enter the US Market

With Tractor70 and Tractor85, Continental is launching two standard tires for tractors and returning to the agricultural tire business. The tires both display extreme robustness and durability, while at the same time ensuring a high level of driving comfort, gentle ground handling and traction. They feature a new bead technology and are made of an innovative nylon material. The Continental tire portfolio is to be expanded to a total of 100 sizes in 2019.

“We at Continental are very excited to re-enter the agriculture tire segment in the Americas region after a 14-year hiatus,” says Matthew Futrelle, sales and marketing manager for Continental Commercial Specialty Tires US/Canada. “We think our ability to supply premium quality farm tires with N.flex technology and our innovative bead designs will give us a competitive advantage for our market re-entry. We are currently building our distribution network and are still looking for partners in certain markets. We encourage interested agriculture tire dealers to reach out to us.”
